On 30th April 1774 the king Louis XV is heavily
sick and the royal family is with him in Versailles. Only Marie Antoinette, wife
of the future Louis XVI, isn't there: she's to the Opera. It's the Carnival day
and the dauphine, hidden behind a mask, try to demonstrate that she still can
seduce men. Some day later, Louis XV die of smallpox and Louis XVI is the new
king of France. At that very moment the count Hans Axel von Fersen discover that
his pretty unknown girl of that evening is... the queen of France!
